Strawberry Jam RecipeIngredients:
4 cups mashed strawberries
4 cups white sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1. Crush strawberries until you have four cups of mashed berries.
2. Mix mashed berries, sugar and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Increase to high heat and bring mixture to a boil. Boil, stirring often, for about ten minutes.
3. Transfer mixture to hot sterile jars and seal. Refrigerate.
(I didn't do any further processing or anything as we'll have all the jars eaten within the next couple of weeks.)
